Background
One of the core issues of forest community ecology is the exploration of how ecological processes affect community structure. The relative importance of different processes is still under debate. This study addresses four questions: (1) how is the taxonomic structure of a forest community affected by spatial scale? (2) does the taxonomic structure reveal effects of local processes such as environmental filtering, dispersal limitation or interspecific competition at a local scale? (3) does the effect of local processes on the taxonomic structure vary with the spatial scale? (4) does the analysis based on taxonomic structures provide similar insights when compared with the use of phylogenetic information? Based on the data collected in two large forest observational field studies, the taxonomic structures of the plant communities were analyzed at different sampling scales using taxonomic ratios (number of genera/number of species, number of families/number of species), and the relationship between the number of higher taxa and the number of species. Two random null models were used and the “standardized effect size” (SES) of taxonomic ratios was calculated, to assess possible differences between the observed and simulated taxonomic structures, which may be caused by specific ecological processes. We further applied a phylogeny-based method to compare results with those of the taxonomic approach.Results
As expected, the taxonomic ratios decline with increasing grain size. The quantitative relationship between genera/families and species, described by a linearized power function, showed a good fit. With the exception of the family-species relationship in the Jiaohe study area, the exponents of the genus/family-species relationships did not show any scale dependent effects. The taxonomic ratios of the observed communities had significantly lower values than those of the simulated random community under the test of two null models at almost all scales. Null Model 2 which considered the spatial dispersion of species generated a taxonomic structure which proved to be more consistent with that in the observed community. As sampling sizes increased from 20 m × 20 m to 50 m × 50 m, the magnitudes of SESs of taxonomic ratios increased. Based on the phylogenetic analysis, we found that the Jiaohe plot was phylogenetically clustered at almost all scales. We detected significant phylogenetically overdispersion at the 20 m × 20 m and 30 m × 30 m scales in the Liangshui plot.Conclusions
The results suggest that the effect of abiotic filtering is greater than the effects of interspecific competition in shaping the local community at almost all scales. Local processes influence the taxonomic structures, but their combined effects vary with the spatial scale. The taxonomic approach provides similar insights as the phylogenetic approach, especially when we applied a more conservative null model. Analysing taxonomic structure may be a useful tool for communities where well-resolved phylogenetic data are not available.82.

为了解鸡滑液囊支原体(MS)在川西地区的感染情况,本研究采集15个肉鸡场疑似MS感染的病鸡咽拭子、跗关节和胸部滑液囊样本共75份,对经PCR检测为阳性的样本进行MS分离,并对分离株的主要生物学特性进行研究,以及对分离株的VlhA基因进行遗传进化分析。结果显示,75份样本MS PCR阳性检出率为41.33%(31/75),11个鸡场感染该病,场阳性率为73.33%(11/15);但仅从其中3个鸡场分离到9株MS,分离株菌落与菌体形态与已知MS培养特性相符,各分离株培养浓度为10~4CCU/mL^10~6CCU/mL,分离株以5×10~5CCU接种7日龄SPF鸡胚,鸡胚于接种后7 d^9 d死亡,且分离回收到接种菌株;9株MS分离株VlhA基因的同源性为86.1%~99.9%,与参考株同源性为86.2%~95.4%,其中分离自同一鸡场的7株MS VlhA基因同源性为96.4%~99.9%;分离株VlhA基因遗传进化分析显示,其中分离自两个不同鸡场的两株MS与国内流行株的亲缘关系最近,而分离自另一鸡场的7株MS与中东地区分离的3株MS亲缘关系较近,表明MS在川西地区肉鸡场呈高感染率,MS VlhA基因变异较大。本研究为川西地区MS的进一步研究提供了基础材料和科学依据。 相似文献

为探讨品种更替过程中小麦苗期根冠生物量分配的演变趋势,以历年来黄淮海麦区大面积推广种植的22个冬小麦品种为研究对象,采用砂培的方法进行幼苗培养,分析小麦种子萌发后不同时间根、冠生长及生物量分配的变化规律。结果表明:冬小麦种子萌发后第3天幼苗根数在品种间无显著差异,第9天、第15天随着品种更替的进行呈现出显著下降的趋势,现代品种初生根数目显著低于早期品种。在第3天、第9天、第15天,小麦苗期幼苗生长随品种更替呈现不同的变化趋势,芽长显著下降,但根长无显著差异。可见,冬小麦苗期芽干质量在品种改良过程中未发生明显变化,而根干质量和根冠比呈现出显著下降的趋势,冬小麦苗期现代品种地上部分分配到更多的生物量。 相似文献

中国大蒜主产区主要品种鳞茎品质及其与产地土壤养分的关系 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
以全国16个省区50个品种大蒜与对应土壤为材料,分析大蒜鳞茎中大蒜素、硒元素、锗元素、可溶性糖、可溶性蛋白的含量,测定蒜瓣数、蒜头质量等7个鳞茎性状及土壤化学性状指标,通过主成分分析对鳞茎性状进行综合评价,分析大蒜鳞茎与产地土壤化学性质的相关性。结果表明:大蒜素、硒、锗和可溶性糖4个主成分累计方差贡献率达到79.8%,反映大蒜品种鳞茎品质的基本信息。鳞茎营养品质大蒜素、硒、锗、可溶性糖、可溶性蛋白及表型品质蒜瓣数、蒜头质量综合排序,品质较好的(F≥0.5)品种是‘苏02’‘苏01’‘贵02’‘豫07’和‘晋01’,品质一般(0≤F0.5)的品种19个,品质较差(F0)的品种超过一半。相关分析表明,土壤养分含量与大蒜品质间的相关性较小,只有硫元素与大蒜素和可溶性糖显著正相关,土壤pH与大蒜锗含量显著正相关,土壤N含量与大蒜可溶性糖极显著正相关。 相似文献

对2001—2017年中国年推广面积大于0.67万hm2的优质杂交稻品种信息进行了统计分析,主要结果如下:(1)2001—2017年,优质杂交稻组合数大幅增加,从2001年的19个组合、推广面积123.2万hm2增加到2017年的214个组合、推广面积706.2万hm2,所占比例也由不足10%提高到60%;(2)年推广面积达到或超过0.67万hm2的优质两系和三系组合数分别为133和382个,累计推广面积分别达到2 565.9万hm2和5 375.0万hm2;(3)主推组合的整精米率、直链淀粉含量、胶稠度、垩白率和垩白度等理化指标得到大幅改善;(4)种业公司更加注重优质两系组合的选育和推广,而省级及以上育种单位在三系组合选育方面更具优势;(5)生产中大面积应用的优质两系不育系有Y58S、广占63S、广占63-4S等,三系不育系有中9A、宜香1A、天丰A等,扬稻6号、广恢998、蜀恢527、华占等则是优质组合的骨干恢复系。还分析了当前品质育种存在的问题,提出了稻米品质改良策略。该研究结果可为优质杂交稻的选育和推广提供借鉴。 相似文献

Hydroxyproline (Hyp) may play an important role in collagen metabolism, as it is almost exclusively found in collagen. To examine this possibility, a 56‐day feeding trial was conducted to evaluate the effect of graded supplementaries of Hyp (0, 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10 and 12.5 g/kg dry diet weight) on growth performance, feed utilization, biochemical composition and collagen synthesis of chu's croaker, Nibea coibor (13.6 ± 0.28 g). The growth performance and feed utilization were improved with increased levels of dietary Hyp, reaching a maximum at 5 g/kg (diet H2) followed by a slight decrease. Polynomial regression analysis showed that the maximum specific growth rate (SGR) was attained at 7.177 g/kg dietary Hyp. Increasing levels of Hyp did not affect body composition of juvenile Nibea coibor. However, dietary Hyp supplementation significantly affected the levels of Leu, Ile, Met, Lys, Ser, Glu and Pro in muscle and the levels of Met, Lys, Glu, Pro and Gly in swim bladder. The serum calcium (SC) level decreased significantly with increasing levels of dietary Hyp. However, the triglycerides (TG) and total cholesterol (T‐CH) levels in serum and liver were relatively stable. Importantly, the acid‐soluble collagen (ASC) and total collagen (TC) levels in swim bladder increased significantly initially and then decreased after reaching a maximum. Polynomial regression analysis revealed that the maximum TC level in swim bladder was attained at 9.736 g/kg of dietary Hyp. Collectively, these results suggest that the appropriate provision of hydroxyproline is essential for maximal collagen synthesis and growth. 相似文献

木材由于内部结构和组成成分的差异,使不同种类木材表现出完全不同的理化性质,并决定其不同的用途和商业价格,因此针对木材的分类识别研究具有重要的应用价值。木材分类识别通常经过木材特征提取和基于特征的分类识别这2个步骤。目前木材特征提取主要利用计算机视觉、光谱分析等技术。木材分类识别是基于木材特征的数字化,这一部分可利用计算机算法实现自动识别,较以往人工识别可大幅提高准确度。文中通过分析近20年来木材特征提取和分类识别的相关文献,介绍各种基于计算机的木材特征提取与分类识别技术的特点及适用范围,并结合计算机技术的发展方向探讨木材特征提取与分类识别技术的发展趋势,以期为构建更准确的木材分类识别技术提供参考。 相似文献
